Postdoctoral Fellow

OPEN POSITION:

We have an open postdoc position at The Center for Musculoskeletal Regeneration with an emphasis on injectable and implantable biomaterials to tune the immune environment towards regeneration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will develop hypothesis-driven investigations of how sugars functionalization of materials impact on immune system boosting regeneration of bone and cartilage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in materials science or a closely related field. Experience in polymeric materials synthesis, materials characterization, and cell culture is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to be creative, highly motivated, work independently and with a strong background in tissue engineering.

‍This position is an excellent and exciting opportunity for exposure to all aspects of translational biomaterials (patent law, formulation, pharmacodynamics and toxicology, clinical trials, FDA regulations) while continuing to explore the basic science mechanisms related to the novel materials discovery.

Research Assistant

OPEN POSITION:

We have an open research assistant position at The Center for Musculoskeletal Regeneration to support orthopedic research projects in varied areas of chemistry, biology and other biomedical or related scientific fields.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will assist with nanoparticles fabrication and characterization, in vitro cellular work and bio-assays, which will be fundamental for carrying out the ongoing projects in the lab focusing on applying biomimetic nanoparticles to inflammatory conditions and regenerative medicine.

‍different techniques for materials synthesis, materials characterization, and cell culture is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team, and be eager to learn.

‍This position is an excellent and exciting opportunity for exposure to conduct highly translational research that is on the cutting edge of drug delivery and tissue regeneration. Learn new techniques and work with animals.
